This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered by ALI SHIPPING across Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, Ajio, Myntra, and other e-commerce platforms, and to visitors of alishipping.in.
Overview
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This document explains what we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It includes a dedicated Amazon SP-API / SPP section to ensure platform-specific compliance.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Name, business name, email address, phone number
- Billing / invoicing / GST details you supply for service delivery
- Service requests, support messages, and attachments you share
1.2 Platform & service-related data (what we access with consent)
- Seller account metadata (store name, seller ID, marketplace)
- Catalog data (product titles, SKU, inventory counts)
- Order summaries and metrics (non-PII: counts, statuses, totals)
- Performance & advertising metrics (campaign summaries, impressions, clicks)
1.3 Technical & usage data
- IP address, browser / device information, cookies, session data
- Analytics and performance data (Google Analytics and server logs)
2. Amazon-Specific SP-API / PII Rules (MUST READ)
Important: For Amazon Seller Central integrations we follow the Amazon Selling Partner API Data Protection Policy (DPP) and SPP requirements.
2.1 We do not access or store Amazon customer PII
We NEVER access, store, or share the following Amazon customer Personally Identifiable Information (PII):
- Customer full name
- Customer phone number
- Customer shipping or billing address
- Customer email address
- Customer payment information or PAN
2.2 OAuth / Login With Amazon only
Seller accounts connect to our systems only via OAuth (Login With Amazon). We do not request or store seller passwords.
2.3 Least privilege & scope control
We request only the SP-API scopes required for the requested service. We document requested scopes and obtain seller consent before connecting.
2.4 Token & credential handling
- Refresh tokens and credentials are stored encrypted at rest with strict access controls.
- Access logs and audit trails record authorized actions.
- Tokens are removed immediately on seller request or upon revocation.
2.5 Data usage & purpose limitation
Data obtained via SP-API is used solely for: account management, listing optimization, order & return coordination (non-PII), reporting, and health monitoring. It is not used for advertising, marketing, or 3rd-party analytics without explicit seller consent.
2.6 Data retention
We retain Amazon-derived non-PII only as long as needed to provide services (typically deleted within 45–90 days after contract termination unless retention is required for audit or legal reasons). Audit logs may be retained longer for security compliance.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve our account management services
- Process orders, returns, and claims (without customer PII)
- Create non-PII reports and analytics for your business
- Communicate with you about services, billing, and policy updates
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud
4. Cookies, Tracking & Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. Third-party tools we may use include Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, and other measurement tools.
If you connect an account and explicitly permit advertising integrations, only aggregated or anonymized metrics are used for campaign optimization; Amazon SP-API data is not used for cross-platform advertising or remarketing without explicit seller consent.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data only in the limited circumstances below:
- With service providers acting on our behalf (payment processors, hosting providers) under contract
- When required by law, government authorities, or to comply with a valid legal process
- To respond to fraud, security, or technical incidents
- For Amazon SP-API audits when required by Amazon (limited & controlled disclosure)
6. Security Measures
We maintain commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including:
- TLS/HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) for all web & API traffic
- Encrypted storage for tokens & secrets
- Role-based access control and privileged access management
- Regular vulnerability scanning and internal audits
- Encrypted backups and secure disaster recovery
Note: While we strive to protect data, no system is 100% secure; take necessary precautions when sharing sensitive information.
7. Data Subject Rights & Controls
You have the right to:
- Access or obtain a copy of your data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data we control (subject to legal and contractual restrictions)
- Revoke OAuth authorizations at any time via Seller Central or by contacting us
- Opt-out of marketing communications

8. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
9. Platform-Specific Notes
Amazon
We follow the Amazon SP-API Data Protection Policy and SPP guidance. Amazon is the final authority for any SP-API permissions and account-level actions.
Shopify / Meesho / Flipkart / Ajio / Myntra
For other marketplaces, we access only merchant-authorized data. Buyer PII from these platforms is not used or exported unless the merchant expressly requires and legally authorizes it (rare case — must be documented and consented).
10. Retention & Deletion
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide services, meet legal obligations, or for legitimate business purposes. On request we will remove or anonymize data, subject to contractual or legal retention needs.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will publish the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance.
