Refund & Returns Policy — ALI SHIPPING

Effective Date: 01 January 2025

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to goods and fulfilment services provided or managed by ALI SHIPPING across multiple marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify and other platforms. Read carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

You may request a return or refund if all the following apply:

  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging (unless damaged on arrival).
  • The return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery (unless the marketplace’s policy differs — marketplace rules apply).
  • You provide a valid order ID, invoice, or proof of purchase.

Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

  • Digital downloads, software subscriptions, or services
  • Personalized or custom-made products (unless defective)
  • Consumables, perishable or hygiene items as defined by marketplaces
  • Products marked “final sale” or “clearance” (where applicable)

2. Refund Process

  1. Initiate a return request via your marketplace order page or contact our support team at support@alishipping.in.
  2. Return items must be shipped back using a trackable courier service.
  3. Once we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

Note: Shipping charges (original & return postage) are non-refundable except when the return is due to our error (wrong/defective item).

3. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect item sent by us or the marketplace seller.
  • Use a tracked shipping method — ALI SHIPPING is not responsible for items lost in transit during return shipping.
  • For marketplace orders (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho etc.), follow the marketplace return flow where available — marketplace return labels or pickups may apply.

4. Exchanges

We will replace items only when:

  • The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect; and
  • A replacement is available in stock.

To request an exchange, contact support@alishipping.in with your order details.

5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your bank account or payment provider for processing time.
  2. Contact your payment provider or credit card company — it may take additional days to post.
  3. If unresolved, contact us at support@alishipping.in with your order ID and proof of return.

6. Marketplace-Specific Conditions

Because we operate across multiple marketplaces, each order may be subject to the specific marketplace’s return rules. Below are commonly used marketplace return & refund pages for reference:

Ali Shipping will follow the marketplace’s flow where applicable and assist with coordination and documentation.

7. Defective or Damaged Items

If your item is defective or damaged on arrival:

  • Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Provide photos and a brief description of the damage.
  • We will guide you through an approved return or replacement process based on the marketplace policy or supplier terms.

8. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled prior to dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, standard return procedures apply. Cancellation requests should be sent immediately to support@alishipping.in.

9. Refunds for Services

Service fees (automation, subscription, account management) are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in your service agreement. Cancellation and refund terms for services are specified in your contract.

11. Additional Terms

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the eligibility criteria.
  • We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date at the top will reflect changes.
  • In case of any conflict between this policy and a marketplace’s mandatory rules, the marketplace rules will prevail for orders placed on that marketplace.

12. Legal & Jurisdiction

This policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction for disputes will be Delhi courts unless otherwise agreed in writing.
